Mrs C is having a girlie night in on Friday, so it's a rare chance for me to get to the local multiplex. I've narrowed it down to a choice of two, Inglourius Basterds or The Taking of Pelham 123.
Your thoughts, please.
The other, rejected choices, are A Perfect Getaway, G-Force, GI Joe, Orphan, The Proposal, The Time Traveller's Wife, The Ugly Truth, Dance Flick, and I Love You Beth Cooper.

Inglourious Basterds. Absolutely. It's excellent. I've not seen Pelham but the reviews I read weren't especially inspiring, but the new QT is (in my humble op) the best thing he's made since Pulp Fiction. |

Or perhaps The Times or The Independent or Empire's reviews?
You can't account for personal opinion... but opinion's swaying considerably my way given it's currently 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I agree ... you prob'ly won't love it, but I think you'll enjoy Christoph Waltz as the funny Nazi.

Changed my mind - go and see The Ugly Truth. |

Haven't seen either, but Basterds gets 8.3 at IMDb and Pelham gets 6.8 (not a good score for a movie just out, as that's most likely to drop from here) so I'd go for Basterds. |

Though I haven't seen either I'd opt for IB over Pelham. |

Yeah, those Nazis could be really hilarious when they put their minds to it...
