Some of them are not too challenging...

Well, at least 18 of them aren't too difficult.

I'm enjoying this (35 so far), although I'd question what Empire considers "great movies" given some of the answers so far. Come to think of it I didn't need this quiz to know that.

I stalled at 39.

It says they are all from the last twenty years, but unless there is remake that's not on here, at least one of them isn't.

45 now, but of the remaining five, I can only see three images.

Let's not give away any of the answers, but could we please just share what the unsolved images are, as I can still only see three?

(1) The woman in a polka dot skirt putting books into a contraption
(2) The martial arts cheerleaders
(3) The nearby kneeling figure

What's the (at least one) other that you can see, demonic?

I got to 42 then cheated. 2-3 of the last ones I'd never have got. I'd also never clicked on one of the remaining ones.

Good fun though, nice spot Salopian.

Or are they one each? Clicking between them doesn't yield an answer box.

In inviso I've described the general location of a hidden one, but with no hint whatsoever at the answer (some may like to try to find it themselves through random clicking).

It's hard lower right, in between some obvious objects.

Hope that helps.

They are only one, and the nearby kneeling figure is part of it.

Salopian, if you are referring the the kneeling character by the 3 cheerleaders, then you are missing one other clue as they are related.

I got 49, by the way. The last one was infuriating me so I cheated, and then it was even more infuriating.

Good idea; I hadn't thought about the fact that some people might not want the location given away. Nice and easy once you see it at all!

I think I may know what you mean, but I was trying to describe things fairly neutrally so as not to give unwanted help to anyone. I still can't get it though. Will keep thinking...
