Assuming this was for me ...
so my googling did in fact uncover a theatre link between you and Mr. Nichols, but it didn't involve Privates on Parade (instead, it involved Chez Nous). I thought PoP had to be on the other end of a chain starting with The Big Picture.

The PoP confuzling comes because in my original post I said: "the object is to trace my onscreen connection to Kevin Bacon."
But with the Bonus questions I didn't make it clear at all that the final film would lead to a stage play which connects me to the final film in the list. My bad!
