is there any way to find out who added a film if i've already deleted from my "new films" page?

You could make an educated guess. The person who added the film would have the first review in terms of chronological order unless that person merely requested to have the film added without a review (in order to create an accolade or some such). So change your view to chronological order and look for the earliest review.

There is every chance of this, though. I add large numbers of films in this way for accolades.
