I will admit that I am amiss as to the conventions on R.I.P. threads, though I remember there was a distinct discussion, and I failed to recall the outcome (though, honestly, I thought we decided to put them all in one place; I think, however, that was my suggestion, which I willed myself to believe had been adopted). I accept fault.
But this is why there should be a separate R.I.P. topic: so well-meaning but misguided people like myself can find it harder to make mistakes!
