Nostalgia-fest time for those lucky enough to remember " The Man from Uncle " movies ( or cut together TV shows, a-hem ).

This is the title sequence from " The Spy in the Green Hat "
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCDiVv8W9Co

It's so groovy!
* The super-cool version of the theme song from Jerry Goldsmith.
* The stop and start visuals were pure UNCLE.
* No messing about - straight into the fistfighting!
* The thugs wear hats - how cool is that?
* Robert Vaughn was ill that day - it's obviously a stuntman for all the action!
* It's hard to think that Duckie from NCIS was ever this mobile! Watch him give that bald guy a pasting at 0.34
* Watch the soft suspension on the villains car at 1.04
* Coolest run ever at 1.07. They mastered long before Steve Austin. Thats not Vaughn he he!
* Back Projection rules at 1.20
* Pre CGI effects at 1.57

Yeah, Baby!

What fun! Thanks for this.

Why don't they put out CDs of these old, great theme songs. Or do they???

These CDs are worth a listen .

Did you see that NCIS episode where Abbey wonders what Ducky must have looked like when he was young and Gibbs answers "Illya Kuryakin"! HA!

Yes! I also like the way they include Michael Wetherleys Sean Connery impersonations.

(Of course, except for being a bit heavier, a few more wrinkles and the blonde has turned to grey, David McCallum looks very, very much like he's always looked - adorable!)

He must be - my sisters always used to go a bit giggly when he was on.
