We seem to have the sad news of Troy's death.

During the 1970's and 80's his trenchant dramas were rarely off the small screen, including the amazing Edge of Darkness. He was always pushing dramatic boundaries, including his screenplays for Kelly's Heroes and The Italian Job.

Plunged into Darkness.

Toppled Over Edge.

"Edge Of Darkness" was a very great TV drama.

I once met Bob Peck in an aquarist shop at the Elephant & Castle where he admired my fish George, a large plec. (No, I am not making this up.)

Sadly the aquarist shop, George and Bob are long gone now, but I have my memories...
