Some of you may even have been lucky enough to spend a few hours of your life in here watching a film projected on its massive screen in the 1500 (yes- 1500!) seater auditorium.
Well, there's some bad rumblings that the screen is about to be converted into smaller screens...
I urge anyone in the area to take the opportunity to enjoy it whilst it's still standing... which could well be the final film at Frightfest- the highly regarded Big bad Wolves- tomorrow night.

Bad News Indeed! I spent many a happy hour of day and night watching cine history unspool. I believe it was David Puttnam who dubbed it the most film-maker friendly cinema in the UK. Perfect projection and sound.
I'm unlikely to get there again, so benj & Co. please watch summat on my behalf. TIA!
