A review that said "40 of 93."

What movie would you think of? This was declined, twice. I even had to explain it. Now if you saw it.....what would you say?

What movie is it for??? Should it be passed?

Given that rockgolf's review for it has been top 10 lately, i can only think of United 93 for which the 93 might be relevent

If I'm right, I still don't know what the 40 stands for or what the review means, though

Although not sure that us regulars should use the fourum to challenge declines - we've seen before where that can lead

No problem with newbies doing it as they try to figure out the site, but us old-timers should try to resist the urge

Hm. Well, if I hadn't have seen a couple of reviews on the site recently, I wouldn't have a clue what flight number crashed that day. I certainly wouldn't know how many passengers were on it. This might be general American knowledge, but nope, news to me.

For me, the number '93' means nothing, but '9/11' means a hell of a lot. I think it's too vague and wouldn't stand up to the test of time. If I had to guess what film it was for, I'd be trying to figure out what happened in 1993 that I was missing.

Thanx. Guess I was only thinking in American terms. Didnt think in worldly terms. thanx for the point of view.

I read there were fewer than 40. Per Wikipedia (yeah, but still...),
quote:
It had 182 seats but was only carrying 37 passengers (including the hijackers) and 7 crew members including the captain Jason Dahl, and his first officer, LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Some early accounts say 38 passengers - this was apparently due to the fact that one passenger had booked two seats. The four hijackers were seated in first class.

Flight 93

The heading reads "Flight 93: Forty lives, one destiny "

So it includes the crew too...........

So can I put? "40 lives of 93"?

How about "93, take away 40" Feel free to use or ignore, TitanPa.

I'm not sure, mind - not that I'm a MERP or anything, but I've got a feeling that any variation on this theme is going to be deemed too obscure.

I would have said "93 took away 40" but that's just me.

You could make it completely obscure: "9/11's 93's 40".

Don't feel bad. I could never get
"12/25 > 10/31"

approved. Can anyone guess the picture?

Yeah, that would be my guess, too.

Of course, the neat thing about this is that it's also a mathematically correct statement.
