Hello
Getting by with a little help from a friend:
Jim Sheridan directed My Left Foot.
This Tooth film has nothing to do with THAT Teeth film!
In Ocean's 13 Matt Damon adopts a facial disguise.
The climax of Rush Hour 3 features an exiciting fight atop a famous Parisian landmark.

Lemmy in for lucky #711.
The Solid Gold Cadillac--Judy Holiday as Laura Partridge is a minority shareholder pain in the corporate butt.
The Greatest Story Ever Sold--Morgan Spurlock's latest was proudly financed by product placement and advertising.
Pina--The latest from the always unpredictable Wim Wenders is a dance film in 3D. |

Happy Thursday. Celebrate by looking at these ones I haven't looked at in years and years. Mostly self-explanatory, aside from noting that Welles's 'Macbeth' is most notable for its Christian/Pagan overtones; 'Bloodsport' features JCVD's character Frank Dux: it works best if you read 'row' as in a fight, not a line.

Nothing beats Airbolt's "Top Hun" for Valkyrie, but I really hope you like these. |

The shape of things to come...
NB: In "The Smurfs" movie pop tart Katy Perry is playing Smurfette. (Ick). Bruce Willis is playing Officer John McClane for the fifth time next year. (Oof). Tim Burton is also remaking his own short film "Frankenweenie". (Why?) Tarantino is killing Bill afresh in 2014. (Sigh).
which leave one original idea amongst this fivesome. Hurrah. Oh no, it's vampires again. |

Racist-extraordinaire Mel Gibson is the voice of John Smith in Pocahontas.
The Nutcracker stars Macaulay Culkin, a child actor (or "moppet"). This film shouldn't be confused with another Christmas-themed film made by the Jim Henson company. |
