- Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
- Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
- Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
- Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
- You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
- The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
- The initiator of the next round will name the thread "FYCTH - #***" or "Sean's FYCTH - #***", "***" is one integer greater than the number of the current round. The initiator of the next round will copy this post verbatim and it will appear as the opening post of the next round, the only things that may be changed are fonts/colours and smileys (which may be removed altogether if desired) and the inviso comment after "Sean Says:".

Over 70 years of stale popcorn.

Cast notes in order of appearance:

> Anyone remember the Canadian Dionne quintuplets? This doco records their 5th birthday.

> Someone named this French donkey Balthazar. Ain't Eddie Murphy jealous! Uhm ... non!

> Beineix's stylish film studies the intriguing, often disappointing dealings between people - some are lovely, some do very nasty things, some fuck, and others just fuck up.

> There's more disporting than sport on that beach.

> Daniel Radcliffe's set to topline a Remarque remake set in the trenches of WWI.

Lemmy in for #659.

The great Jacques Tati died on this day in 1982. Some sources give Nov. 5--I am basing my date on IMDb and French Wiki.

With respect to my review of Playtime, those who have seen it will recall that there are numerous shots in the film that are reflections in the glass of the (then) new office buildings of Paris.

Here is a link to the accolade devoted to Tati created by the great noncentz.

In Harsh Times, Christian Bale is suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder.

Spoiler for Hidden (not really in the review):
Truths from the main character's childhood underlie the story and slowly filter through. A cockerel being killed is central to it all.
