In "Van Helsing", a lame tribute to the classic Universal horrors, Hugh Jackman takes on Dracula. |

Can’t imagine why the unimaginative farce Death at a Funeral has just been remade, but anyway. My reviews — the 4th & 5th from left to right — of the 2007 Brit original & the 2010 American remake aren’t spoilers because you’re unlikely to understand them without knowing the plot (there’s only one plot); but if you want to appreciate either movie's comedic brilliance without foreknowledge, don’t read this:
Peter Dinklage stars in both films. He plays the lover of the secretly gay codger who’s carked it, & threatens to reveal all to the funeral guests if he’s not paid off. He gets trussed up & put into the coffin with his ex-lover at one point.
