TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

DA NEW ROOLZ

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some world event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link. You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme.

ON THIS DAY
in 1980 the 40-year-old John Lennon was assassinated in NYC. To mark his sad end you are invited to post your fwfrs for any film in which Lennon appeared, or that features him as a main character.

Yep. I'm notably Lennon free. You could expand to a more general Beatles theme - that opens up a whole mystery tour of potential films, but I don't mind sitting out if need be.

Well, I've only one film and that too probably because he appears on TV in that film - most 20th century historical figures probably appear in that film.

Presenting to you...

I have included only one film where he appears in archive footage if only because Julian is in the actual film. Also there is one produced and co-directed by John.

Hope we passed the audition.

I can add Forrest Gump too, FWIW.

And a new approval I'm quite proud of.

Across the Universe (Breaking the rules, but it seems reasonable to include this film.)
