Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Sean Says: There is no nothing. Nothing is something.

- Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
- Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
- Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
- Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
- You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
- The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
- The initiator of the next round will name the thread "FYCTH - #***" or "Sean's FYCTH - #***", "***" is one integer greater than the number of the current round. The initiator of the next round will copy this post verbatim and it will appear as the opening post of the next round, the only things that may be changed are fonts/colours and smileys (which may be removed altogether if desired) and the inviso comment after "Sean Says:".

Another Monday of fwfr genius

To hintlet or not to hintlet ...

In Go West Young Man, Mae West plays Mavis Arden and hearthrob of his day Randolph Scott plays Bud Norton.

Stephen King was not above Vamping.

The Bully of the title undergoes a Kafkaesque transformation into an ant. So there!

Inglorious Basterds INVISIBO SPOILER - A cinema owner and her projectionist lover sacrifice the building during a Nazi-only screening.

Turns out, mofo-big sharks and encephelopods are smelly - in a glandular sort of way. Who knew?

Oktoberfest

Brick Lane is based on the (excellent) novel of the same name by Monica Ali. Its about the break-up of an arranged marriage between Bangladeshi Muslims in London & caused some controversy.

Novelist Pete Dexter scripted Mulholland Falls.

Note: Carrie Buck was the victim of compulsory sterilisation as part of Virginia's eugenics program in 1927. Another area of shadow in American history, here's the Wikipedia link. Well worth reading.
