Put any number of reviews in your F.Y.C. list, none of them from round 482. Post a link here, warning of any spoilers. Visit all the other links.

The next round starts from 6:00 a.m. F.W.F.R. time on Monday.

Last year's leftovers recombined in a tasty stew.

Notes for the fine diner:
Princess is a hamster.
Dean Spanley ... spoiler invisibo:
channels the pet of Peter O'Toole.
My review could be considered a spoiler or just an observation on character.

NB - no animals were harmed in the making of this offering.

PS - Thanks to Beanmimo and Sal for your comments.

Aileen Wuornos was the woman they did the movie Monster about. Eddie Cook really jazzed it up with Ram Bowen in Paris!

That's a spoiler about Dean Spanley, B.B. Although it's pretty obvious, the film definitely tries to hide it from the viewer till the reveal.

Hey Sal, as I have pointed out before highlighting a spoiler in the thread is pointing it out to the ignorant like me that there is a spoiler.
Wouldn't it be better to pm the spoiler's author in question in case it slipped by them and let them post a warning?

It makes no difference whether someone reading the spoiler knows at the time that it is a spoiler or not: if they end up seeing the film, it will be a spoiler either way. I think in the previous case you thought the spoiler was somewhat oblique and thus mentioning it could have made it clearer; I'm not sure how much that was the case but it's definitely not the case here as the wording is quite explicit.

In any case that I see a spoiler I will pm the author and let them post a warning, this is one of the few etiquette points I adhere to as strictly as possible as i believe it is the polite way of highlighting the issue.

I did post a spolier myself once without warning (an oversight on my behalf) and as it was highlighted in the thread afterwards i believe you Sal lead a "let's not vote for any of Beanmimo's fycth this round" mob, I found this quite unfair as once i had seen the error of my ways I highlighted the spoiler imeediately.

Thought it has taught me to be more careful.

Sorry I got out of the wrong side of bed this morning!!

Last time, Winslet, this time Penn.

For those who were not around, the first film about Harvey Milk was The Times of Harvey Milk in 1984.

Well, I don't agree that a P.M. is more polite or otherwise best. Information about a spoiler is just functional, not a comment on the poster. The trouble with a P.M. is that depending upon the e-mail address the person may not get it in time. I once P.M.ed someone because a review of theirs could hurt another reviewer's feelings in a way they did not know about, but they didn't get my message until the round was over -- in that case I of course couldn't have done it any other way, but it proves the point.

That is a totally outrageous thing to say. I definitely did no such thing. I wouldn't make such a suggestion and nor would anyone follow it. All I can remembr is that you posted a spoiler and when I mentioned it you said that it made it worse, which I didn't really agree with because people would only have read my message quite a few posts after yours.

It's the bit now in beige that I was mainly talking about as a spoiler, although the review is technically a spoiler too even if there is a double meaning.
