Stepping off the edge

For the hint deprived:

Bring It On features the wonderful Gabrielle Union as Isis, a superior high school cheerleader named for the ancient Egyptian goddess.

Ewan McGregor plays journo Catcher Block in Down With Love, trying to
deny his attraction to feminist Rene Zellweger.

Hurrah for the MERPs who gave me enough new reviews fill up my FYC (and a couple more as well).

Did you know: that in the Cinderella movie Ever After, they have a guy playing Leonardo DaVinici who is the one who tells the Prince (Dougrey Scott) that if he loves Daniella, he shouldn't care that she isn't royalty.

Gotta roll with the punches.

Spoiler for Stanley Kubrick's The Killing.

Notes on two obscure ones:
Blizna and Amator are early Kieslowski films. The first is about a man's problematic management of a factory; the second is about a man who buys a video camera and becomes obsessed with making films.
