Sean's Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Sean Says:

Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does
Well, lightning strikes,
maybe once, maybe twice
Ah, and it lights up the night
And you see your gypsy
You see your gypsy

What it is...

My Best Friend's Wedding: A friend of mine who is a complete Julia Roberts fan said this about the film.

Take Me Home: The John Denver Story: Denver crashed into the ocean on his way to land at a smaller country airport.

We Were Soldiers: Another in my series of Randall Wallace/Mel Gibson revisionist history reviews.

Concert for George: As Harrison said in a song: "Give me love, give me love, give me peace on earth..."

Death wears many disguises
NB - please forgive the unwanted apostrophe in A Mighty Heart - I've already reported it.

JUST IN CASE:

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle stars Rebecca de Mornay as the nanny.

Thomas Schlamme directed So I Married An Axe Murderer.

In The Brave One Erica Bain is attacked, buys a gun, and goes on the revenge trail.

A Mighty Heart depicts the great courage of murdered journo Daniel Pearl and his wife Mariane.

In Shoot 'Em Up Clive Owen finds an interesting use for carrots.

Better late than never!

I see not everyone knows that: in the movie Only When I Laugh Georgia (Marsha Mason) plays recovering alcoholic just out of a clinic, trying to deal with life, including her daughter and crazy friends, one of which is played by Joan Hackett. Question is, can she 'hack it'? As for Destry, this is another Audie Murphy movie playing the title role - strangely, this is a remake of the 1939 movie Destry Rides Again which starred Jimmy Stewart, and this story later became a TV series - all of which came from Max Brand's novel "Destry Rides Again". Not very exciting, but true.
