This has been a long time coming. For that, I apologise.

This was inspired by Salopian's "Up From Nothing" thread.

This is the second, and final, round of this game. This time round, I'd like to encourage everyone to post their top ten favourite reviews by other posters. They don't have to be what you believe to be any particular reviewer's most accomplished review (or reviews), nor do they necessarily have to be amongst their top ten vote getters, but, considering the very nature of the thread, I am sure there will be reviews that would also belong in either category, if not both. I tried to not choose any reviews from the Top 100, but feel free to do your own thing.

The single rule from the first round remains: No explanations. Why? Because explanations make Baby Jebus cry.

Next round? I doubt there will be one. However, I might start posting threads concentrating on one particular reviewer, where everyone posts their ten favourite reviews of said fwiffer.

Good thread, Ali. I will take some time over this one. There are a few reviews at which I smile whenever I see them, and I don't want to forget any of those.

Right now my favourite is Catuli's "Jewish Bacon no oxymoron" for Where The truth Lies (Kevin Bacon plays a Jewish singer)

Some of the other great ones include....

Rockgolf's "Irregular entry into ledger" for Brokeback Mountain

Whippers's "Ironically, boy fingers Jackson" for Michael Jackson and the Boy He Paid Off

The Prof's "Both lovers well hung" for Making Love in a Hammock

Foxboy's "Slaved by the Bell" for Hunchback of Notre Dame

Josh The Cat's "Martin learns sign language" for LA Story

Cheese Ed's "The Biting Irish" for The Irish Vampire Goes West

Catuli's "This girl for higher" for Attack of the 50 Foot Woman

Lemmy's "Monroe's grate performance" for Seven Year Itch

And not that it needs anymore votes but...
MGuyx's "I bet Kramer wins" for Kramer vs. Kramer

P.S. Thanks Ali for the plug for my Hollywoodland review.

Not guaranteed to be my ten favorite, but here are ten I really love (listed in ascending order of votes they have already received):

boydegg's 'E for Effort' for V for Vendetta

Whippersnapper's 'Simone can't control felines.' for The Cat People

AussieCanuck's 'Unpronounceable road proves dangerous.' for Zzyzx

noncentz's 'OK musical.' for Oklahoma!

lemmycaution's 'Teen promotes Lourdes tourism.' for Song of Bernadette

Randall's 'Singin' 'bout a revolution.' for 1776

Yukon's 'Pursuit of incorrect spelling.' for The Pursuit of Happyness

Rockgolf's 'III III' for The Madness of King George (though I agree with Salopian that it would be even better if the words were transposed)

LPH's 'To Helen Back' for Troy

Yenser's 'Brother gets own bedroom.' for Saving Private Ryan

Hadn't seen that one before, but I love it, thanks for pointing it out.

Will check all the posts in this thread, and also think hard about which to post myself - I love the threads that point out other people's great reviews, nice one Ali

Some great reviews here; I especially like the Throw Momma From The Train review that Salopian posted.

Thanks, also, for the kind feedback.

Almost impossible - there are too many great reviews I really like. Basically I looked through various reviewers top pages till I had 10 - but there are definitely more than 10 top reviewers in my estimation, and many of them have dozens of great reviews each... here's what I came up with this time...

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Killer Nun

Silence of the Lambs

Love Bakery

Robocop

Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold

Network

The Way French Bathing Girls Bathe

Beethoven Lives Upstairs

The Last Temptation of Christ

I'll definitely find it easier posting my favourite reviews of particular fwiffers... bring on those rounds! A new one every week!
