How did BaftaBabe get 100 reviews approved on Sept 23rd? I only get one or two approved a day. Sometimes one or two a week.
I only ask because she's about to shove me down into 13th place. Very unlucky.
But honestly, how do some people get so many reviews approved at once?
And no, it wasn't all for one movie or any simple answer like that.

You're a nice girl Monty, so you really don't want to know what Baffy gets up to to persuade those MERPs to accept 100 of her reviews in a day.

I have no idea! All I can say in sympathy, EM, is that there's many a month has gone by when I have less than two approvals for the whole month! And I continually submit my 20-limit per week.
Now I'll probably never have another approval again for a looooooooong time. So I bet your 13th place will be lucky for some. I hope so - I don't like to think of you being unhappy.

So you deny using "The Naked Witch" routine?  OK, we'll take you at your word.
Well, a small smattering of votes has been known to have therapeutic effects on depressed fwfrs, so we'll try that treatment on Monty and see how she responds.

I had the same experience as Baffy, Monty. Bupkis aside from a straggler or two for a long time, then va-va-voom in the past week! I think the MERPs must be back from their secret summer retreat.
EDIT: You didn't experience any acceleration recently? Then my theory must be wrong... |
