So is my FWFR the only one that didn't even get processed? Boo-hoo!

Ah, well ... what's a few more millennia in the waiting room of infinity ...

The MERPs must be split over your infinitives.

Oh, nice twist on my idea. Hope it gets accepted - it will probably surpass mine in votes.

(I was very surprised that my review garnered two votes right off the bat. Thanks to whomever!)

I'm quite proud when my reviews end up with the most for any given film, but it is absolutely criminal that Salopian's review for TMWKI has half the votes mine has. Salopian's review easily deserves Top 500 status.

A two-word common phrase, each word used with an alternate but entirely valid meaning, and perfectly fitting the movie. It's the first review on this list, in every sense of the word.

What are you waiting for? Vote for it.

Why, thank you.

Yours are all good, but I think your new partitioning one is even better than your high-scoring one.

I find it strange that you are writing reviews for a film that doesn't exist yet. many of these may well end up declined after the fact as inaccurate.

It's not like it's the first time, and it's just a bit of fun. I intentionally chose a film for which there would not be a division between those who had and hadn't seen it.

This is not very likely, since (i) this is a biopic and (ii) most of the reviews are just Indian/mathematical puns.

My review was declined again, and I resubmitted it, mainly because specific mention of Srinivasa Ramanujan is made in Good Will Hunting, and how the latter compares to him in many respects. In fact, Hunting's two mentors share a silly joke about the "type of Indian" he was. It's not a great review, but it is apt.

Weirdly, I've already had my "Cab 1729? Interesting number!" review rejected as "factually inaccurate". I even included a link to the famous story.

In brief, Ramanujan's mentor comes to India to visit him. Ramanujan is dying. The mentor takes cab 1729 to his house, and tells him he's sorry the cab number wasn't more interesting. Ramanujan immediately points out that 1729 is the smallest number that is the sum of 2 cubes in two different ways.) I can't imagine this story not being in the film, since it is legendary among mathematicians, so I wonder how my review can be inaccurate.

So 1729 isn't an interesting number?
