Thers a film where a man ( in Australia ?) wakes up and finds that everyone around has vanished . I think he meets a couple of other people who "survived " by being in a coma or in a mine? I remember the last scene is on a Beach with some weird sky.

Anyone know the film?

Whaddaya mean Australia?

A damn good film, quite unusual premise. Funny too.

New Zealand is part of Australia isn't?
Well, we claim all the good things that come out of NZ anyway.
That's why Sen is still there.

I'd put that movie in the Top 10 Kiwi flicks ever. Most of the others are Peter Jackson's.

So, you wanted to watch it again, AIRBOLT? Or had heard about it and trying to find it? If you haven't seen it, certainly seek it out. Try and avoid spoilers though. When I saw this at the cinema in 1985 I knew nothing at all about it.

BTW, foxy is a tosser.

I remember that one! Saw it on telly years ago, but still remember it pretty vividly. A really good premise.. can't recall how it ends though, might try and track it down again..

I agree, that is an excellent film. It is one that I think of rather often, because it was so intriguing and done so well.
