How many guys raised the flag in "Flags of our Fathers"

I thought it was 6..thats how the statue is.

But my review seems to be inaccurate. twice

There are many more soldiers in that famous image. They "cropped" the image for the statue.

and they call it Factually inaccurate.

I did not know that. Very interesting. Learn something every day. I just did a review for the statue then..not for the movie.

I think I've figured out the problem. May I suggest:

"6 raise 48"

BTW, I was wrong. There are only 6 of them in that picture.
