TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up
The Rules
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.
ON THIS DAY:
May 8, choose one of the following:
1879--George Selden applied for the first automobile patent. Let's see your reviews for road movies.
1945--WWII ends in Europe. German instruments of surrender ratified. Here is your chance to display your reviews for films dealing with the war in Europe.
For those interested, but unsure of the method - to isolate a review for a film in the new site first choose the "mine" filter on the film page, then hold the mouse button down over your review for two seconds - the address for your review will then drop down which you can right click to copy and paste. |

Unfortunately I got a charge out of that review some time ago and voted on it. Why not find a few more reviews on topic and plug them in. It would be great to have a new player every week. |

How about these? You may have voted on these as well because most of my reviews are pretty old.

Edit: After seeing Chazbo's post, I realized how many WWII movies I have reviewed. I will enter with those, later in the day. |

Gotcha Chazbo. My fave is the Great Escape, long since voted on. Your Lifeboat review is a gem. |

Done with yours, Lemmy. Not sure how I missed the Saving Private Ryan review before--its vote was long overdue, along with many others. And you reminded me that I still have to watch Rossellini's trilogy. One of these days...

Got yours, Demonic. Great review for Inglourious Basterds that I hadn't gotten before. And really like your new one for Great Escape.
