TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up
The Rules
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted.
ON THIS DAY:
May 1, choose one of the following:
In 1999 the body of George Mallory was found on Mt. Everest 75 years after his death. Get out your climbing gear and let's see your reviews for films set in the mountains big and small.
In 1941 Citizen Kane opened in NYC and was ignored by Hearst papers. Well, stop the presses and post your reviews for any film involving the Kenosha Kid, Orson Welles.
In 1960 the snoopy American Francis Gary Powers was shot down by the Soviet Union. U-2 can post your reviews for Cold War-themed films.
------------------------------------------------------------------- For those interested, but unsure of the method - to isolate a review for a film in the new site first choose the "mine" filter on the film page, then hold the mouse button down over your review for two seconds - the address for your review will then drop down which you can right click to copy and paste.

Got yours, Lemmy.
Lots of good stuff in your Welles collection, including some underrated gems like "Ray's Rebel with cause," "Perkins has stepmother issues," and "Gilliam tilts at windmills." Always enjoy a good allusive review.
