Vengaboys are a very camp pop group.
The original title of Kathmandu Lullaby translates as "Mirror in the Sky", a phrase used in the film to describe where one is at home. There are flashbacks to the protagonist's unhappy schooling as she improves things for Nepali pupils. |

Posted - 05/25/2012 : 22:21:23 Every film in the 90s was set in Vegas. Well, maybe not all... maybe these ones.
NB: "Casino" features a horribly memorable scene with a head in a vise. Philip Baker Hall plays a professional gambler in "Hard Eight". The accidental killing of a prostitute at a stag-do prompts the plot in "Very Bad Things". Vince Vaughn stars in "Swingers". The buying and selling of the drug Ecstacy is a big part of the plot of "Go".

Cheesy asides: Sid is the nasty rat that shows up and flushes our urbane hero down the toilet. Spoiler here (not in the review) for The Pirates!: In their quest for loot, the pirates uncover a secret society that feasts on endangered species.
