DA EVEN NEWER ROOLZ
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted. As a courtesy to the majority of fwfrs, you may only post a link that uses the http://www.fwfr.com domain name.
Each week's TA:MOU will be removed when a new one takes its place. This is to deter re-visiting of expired threads. Yours truly Da Management
ON THIS DAY TA:MOUers get a choice because it's the date of two seminal events.
First, in 1963 the assassination of President John F Kennedy rocked and shocked the world to tears. Whatever has been subsequently revealed about him and his deeply troubled family, his influence at the time helped form a generation.
Second, in 1995 Walt Disney Pictures released Toy Story, the first ever feature-length computer generated Pixar film. John Lasseter directed a witty screenplay starring actors whose expertise brought the images engagingly to life.
So, gang, your TA:MOU task this week is to choose fwfrs either from films in which a serving head of state gets assassinated, or from all your computer generated cine delights.
Of course, if you can find a computer-gen film in which a head of state is assassinated, well - you're TA:MOU squared!
Eeny-meeny ...
