The challenge this time is the topical one of 'commemorating' George W. Bush or congratulating Barack Obama. Reviews can be either those which refer to one or both of them directly (e.g. for W., Fahrenheit 9/11 or the untitled Barack Obama documentary) or those for unrelated films which manage to comment on them (e.g. "Non-political Bush Burning"). Despite the title of this thread, insane people may also post pro-Bush reviews.

Please post a specific link to each review and give clear spoiler warnings where appropriate.

You are welcome to post existing reviews, but you are particularly encouraged to write new ones fitting the requirement... if you can bear to think about him now that you don't have to in the case of Bush.

Like all challenges, this will be completely open-ended, due to the variable speed of approvals and the fact that inspiration does not come at will. Good luck!

I've decided to go along with RockGolf's unilateral broadening of the thread.

In "American Dreamz", the M. Moore is not Michael, but Mandy. Link

"I'm the decider, and I decide what is best." Link

Michael Moore claims to be Democrat-Independant. So what does that make him if abbreviated? Link

And to cleanse the pallet, I thought it was wonderful that Obama invited the surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen to his inauguration. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first group of black pilots during WWII, received their training in Tuskegee, Alabama and were the subject of a very good made-for-TV film. Link

I love this topic. Good choice Salopian!

Death of a President: "Sadly, Bush assassination fictional."

W.: "Stone enjoys burning Bush."

Fahrenheit 9/11: "War begins with W." and "Moore's 411 on 9/11"

Shut up and Sing: "Chicks bash their Bush."

Three pitiful reviews for a pitiful president:

Death of a President.

Fahrenheit 9/11.

Crawford -- an absorbing film about the positive and negative responses when Bush moved to this small town. For anyone who didn't see my post in the F.Y.C.T.H., I'd appreciate improvements to this review -- the non-literal image I'm going for is dead twigs and branches on the ground round a shrub.

W.

I think that's it from me.

Not really "sort of", since I quoted it in the opening post!

I can think of two that certainly apply.

Here is the most obvious one.

And then there's this one.

I think my solitary existing Bush burn is this one. I don't like to give him too much thought.
