Clearly you've never had to put up with a stressed out bride-to-be for months on end.

This is true.

But, if you think that's stressful, wait till you're married.

It gets worse???

Benj just a few pointers,
on the day have a list of all contacts/services e.g. our florist and old world style 1950's bus did not turn up so I got the list out and hurried them up without the bride knowing there was a problem.

secondly
on the day enjoy the car ride from church to reception it is about the only time the two of you will be alone all day.

thirdly
it is, for me, the best thing in my life and I hope you are really happy

lastly
wait til the baby(if your blessed) gets collic that is the pits

Somehow I missed this before, and so I have deleted my defence above.

I am not that bothered whether anyone believes it or not, but, for the record, I did not copy TitanPa's review. Also, after scouring the reviews on any given film, I have recently started googling "my upcoming review in question and four word film review," to see if the review is a duplicate. I usually discard a review in case a pun I'd come up with had been used by someone else on another film. Obviously, this one slipped through.

That said, I am not bothered about crap like this. Which is why I didn't bitch about a particularly popular review from last week that mirrored a review of mine word for word for word.

Anyway, sorry for the hassle, and I will try and be more careful in the future.

Sorry about the outburst and sorry for the wording. I sometimes dont know how to express myself.

I have already PMed Banj about this but, as I am still waiting for an answer, or would be if I still held out any hope of getting an answer

I'm sorry I haven't immediately replied on this but, alongside the usual stuff, I've been somewhat preoccupied with organising my wedding...

I can understand that, but a brief acknowledgment would only have taken a few seconds and would have been much appreciated.

Clearly you've never had to put up with a stressed out bride-to-be for months on end. Seriously, if I can make it through the next week and a half, the actual marriage will be a piece of piss in comparison. I seldom get longer than half an hour on my PC of late.

I should also add that I receive a lot of emails on a daily basis (presently, for example, I have a classful of film students asking me to look at their reviews for an assignment they need to complete soon) and I typically prioritise approving reviews over sending email receipts, impolite as that may be.

How did I miss the fact that you're getting married? And in a week and a half?

I think that you should be careful about lambasting the MERPS....it must be trying to have to weigh every review and research the film and look at all the other reviews to see if they're too similar. It's a tough job and I'm sure they try their best. :) I'm sorry about your review problem and I think we both know it was an accident. :)

Congrats benj.
Remember after every wedding comes a marriage!

It's been 18 years, 10 months and 15 days since our big day and I'd marry her again in a second (although I'd probably elope and skip all the stress that the wedding seems to bring). Remember weddings are all about the bride - think of yourself as an accessory on the day and just go with the flow.

No fwfring on the honeymoon either.

Well, we're buggered on that one- we're doing the whole shebang in a castle so there's no church to travel from and nowhere to travel to

Er... probably not. Apparently the funny duties are meant to be left to the best man, so I'll have to restrain my stupid urges during the speech

P.S. Apologies for taking this thread so off-course
