According to Sal, it's time for our newest challenge!

Here are the rules this time: reviews have to be about the movie in question (well duh, otherwise they wouldn't be approved), but they should ALSO contain a hidden message of some sort that's not actually related to the film. This can be a lot of fun because it will also give us all the opportunity to try and guess what the hidden message is. So don't give it away when you post your review here!

Here's my contribution to get us started. I'm actually a little disappointed to have to give away the fact that there's a hidden message in it, but since it's never gotten a vote it's possible it was so well hidden that nobody would ever realize there WAS a hidden message if I hadn't said so.

As well as referring to the film (set in gangsterland), I was secondarily alluding to the stereotype of Australia being populated by convicts, but primarily to the television series.

At long last I have got both of them: bife lines, very nice.

I forgot about this one.

I've looked through all of these and voted on some. Interesting idea.

Cheese_Ed, I'd already voted on most of yours but am not sure whether some of them qualify. (Have you seen our Benj off the leash? The bife one only refers to the film, as far as I can tell. The hidden words ones are good but not apt here - I already had that in mind for a later round.)

Rovark, yours also does not make a comment on a matter unrelated to the film. Cryptic crossword-type ones will come up in a later round.

Aaah, looks like I missed the point slightly. I'll save that one for another round then and have a new look at what I've got.

Well, if you don't get them all, that's OK.

Hhmmm, I think I got them...

I think that all of these qualify.

Changing Lanes

The Pianist.

The Prince and the Pauper.

I think all of my 'tribute' reviews fall into this category - I try to do more than just get a reviewers name in the tribute. These are a few examples.
benj1
benj2
MguyX
Corduroy Pillow
bife

I've also made a couple personal statements to Fwifferdom.
These two
The first one here

These seem to fit the pattern of the thread.
1 - the second one listed
2
3 - the first one listed
4 - the first one listed

These are hidden messages of a slightly different type.
These are some of my proudest babies

That's a GREAT one, assuming I interpreted it correctly. I've sent you a PM asking if I got it right.

You did and thanx.
